2. Grundsatz
Foliana ist ein digitales Bullet Journal. Uns ist Datensparsamkeit wichtig: Wir erheben, speichern und verarbeiten keine personenbezogenen Daten von dir auf eigenen Servern. Foliana hat keine Benutzerkonten, keine Anmeldung, kein Tracking, keine Werbung und bindet keine Analyse- oder Werbe-SDKs von Dritten ein.
3. Deine Journal-Inhalte
Alle von dir erstellten Inhalte (Aufgaben, Notizen, Ereignisse, Sammlungen, Handschrift/Skizzen) werden lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert.
Wenn du in iCloud angemeldet bist, werden diese Inhalte zusätzlich über Apple iCloud (CloudKit) in deiner privaten iCloud-Datenbank synchronisiert, damit sie auf deinen Geräten verfügbar sind. Diese Daten liegen in deinem iCloud-Konto; wir haben keinen Zugriff darauf. Es gelten die Datenschutzbestimmungen von Apple. Du kannst die Synchronisation in den iCloud-Einstellungen deines Geräts deaktivieren.
4. Sprach-/Diktatfunktion
Wenn du die Sprach-Erfassung nutzt, wird deine Spracheingabe zur Texterkennung verarbeitet. Diese Verarbeitung erfolgt durch die Spracherkennung deines Geräts; wir empfangen oder speichern keine Audiodaten. Die Mikrofon- und Spracherkennungsberechtigung kannst du jederzeit in den iOS-Einstellungen widerrufen.
5. Käufe und Abonnements
In-App-Käufe und Abonnements (z. B. „Foliana Pro“, „Liquid Metal“) werden ausschließlich über Apple (App Store / StoreKit) abgewickelt. Zahlungsdaten verarbeitet allein Apple; wir erhalten von Apple lediglich anonyme bzw. aggregierte Verkaufs- und Abostatusinformationen, die keine Rückschlüsse auf deine Person zulassen.
6. Diagnose- und Absturzdaten
Während der Beta-Phase über TestFlight sowie im App Store kann Apple – sofern du dem in den iOS-Einstellungen zugestimmt hast – anonymisierte Absturz- und Nutzungsdiagnosen bereitstellen. Diese helfen uns ausschließlich, Fehler zu beheben, und enthalten keine Journal-Inhalte. Du kannst dies unter „Einstellungen ▸ Datenschutz & Sicherheit ▸ Analyse & Verbesserungen“ steuern.
7. Keine Weitergabe an Dritte
Wir geben keine Daten an Dritte weiter. Eine Datenübertragung findet nur insoweit statt, wie sie technisch durch deine eigene Nutzung von Apple iCloud erfolgt.
8. Deine Rechte (DSGVO)
Da wir selbst keine personenbezogenen Daten von dir speichern, laufen Auskunfts-, Berichtigungs- oder Löschanfragen praktisch ins Leere – deine Inhalte hast du selbst in der Hand:
- Lokale Daten löschst du, indem du die App vom Gerät entfernst.
- iCloud-Daten verwaltest/löschst du in den iCloud-Einstellungen deines Geräts.
Unabhängig davon hast du nach DSGVO das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch sowie ein Beschwerderecht bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde. Wende dich dafür an die unter Ziffer 1 genannte Adresse.
9. Kinder
Foliana richtet sich nicht gezielt an Kinder und erhebt wissentlich keine Daten von Kindern.
10. Änderungen dieser Erklärung
Wir können diese Datenschutzerklärung anpassen, wenn sich die App oder die Rechtslage ändert. Die jeweils aktuelle Fassung ist in der App bzw. unter dieser URL abrufbar.

2. Principle
Foliana is a digital bullet journal. Data minimization matters to us: we do not collect, store, or process any personal data about you on our own servers. Foliana has no user accounts, no sign-in, no tracking, no advertising, and does not integrate any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
3. Your journal content
All content you create (tasks, notes, events, collections, handwriting/sketches) is stored locally on your device.
If you are signed in to iCloud, this content is additionally synchronized via Apple iCloud (CloudKit) in your private iCloud database so that it is available across your devices. This data resides in your iCloud account; we have no access to it. Apple’s privacy terms apply. You can disable synchronization in your device’s iCloud settings.
4. Voice / dictation feature
If you use voice capture, your speech input is processed for speech-to-text recognition. This processing is performed by your device’s speech recognition; we do not receive or store any audio data. You can revoke microphone and speech-recognition permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases and subscriptions (e.g., “Foliana Pro”, “Liquid Metal”) are handled exclusively through Apple (App Store / StoreKit). Payment data is processed solely by Apple; from Apple we only receive anonymous or aggregated sales and subscription-status information that does not allow any conclusions about your identity.
6. Diagnostic and crash data
During the beta phase via TestFlight and in the App Store, Apple may — if you have consented in iOS Settings — provide anonymized crash and usage diagnostics. These help us solely to fix bugs and contain no journal content. You can control this under “Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Analytics & Improvements”.
7. No sharing with third parties
We do not share any data with third parties. Data transfer only occurs to the extent technically caused by your own use of Apple iCloud.
8. Your rights (GDPR)
Since we ourselves do not store any personal data about you, requests for access, rectification, or erasure are effectively moot — your content is in your own hands:
- Local data: delete it by removing the app from your device.
- iCloud data: manage/delete it in your device’s iCloud settings.
Notwithstanding this, under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For this, contact the address given in section 1.
9. Children
Foliana is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy if the app or the legal situation changes. The current version is available in the app or at this URL.

2. Principio
Foliana es un diario «bullet journal» digital. La minimización de datos es importante para nosotros: no recopilamos, almacenamos ni tratamos ningún dato personal tuyo en nuestros propios servidores. Foliana no tiene cuentas de usuario, ni inicio de sesión, ni seguimiento, ni publicidad, y no integra SDK de análisis o publicidad de terceros.
3. Tus contenidos del diario
Todo el contenido que creas (tareas, notas, eventos, colecciones, escritura a mano/bocetos) se almacena localmente en tu dispositivo.
Si has iniciado sesión en iCloud, este contenido se sincroniza además a través de Apple iCloud (CloudKit) en tu base de datos privada de iCloud, para que esté disponible en tus dispositivos. Estos datos residen en tu cuenta de iCloud; nosotros no tenemos acceso a ellos. Se aplican las condiciones de privacidad de Apple. Puedes desactivar la sincronización en los ajustes de iCloud de tu dispositivo.
4. Función de voz / dictado
Si utilizas la captura por voz, tu entrada de voz se procesa para el reconocimiento de voz a texto. Este procesamiento lo realiza el reconocimiento de voz de tu dispositivo; nosotros no recibimos ni almacenamos ningún dato de audio. Puedes revocar los permisos de micrófono y de reconocimiento de voz en cualquier momento en los Ajustes de iOS.
5. Compras y suscripciones
Las compras dentro de la app y las suscripciones (p. ej., «Foliana Pro», «Liquid Metal») se gestionan exclusivamente a través de Apple (App Store / StoreKit). Los datos de pago los trata únicamente Apple; de Apple solo recibimos información de ventas y de estado de suscripción anónima o agregada que no permite extraer conclusiones sobre tu identidad.
6. Datos de diagnóstico y de fallos
Durante la fase beta a través de TestFlight y en la App Store, Apple puede —si lo has consentido en los Ajustes de iOS— proporcionar diagnósticos anónimos de fallos y de uso. Estos nos ayudan únicamente a corregir errores y no contienen contenido del diario. Puedes controlarlo en «Ajustes ▸ Privacidad y seguridad ▸ Análisis y mejoras».
7. Sin cesión a terceros
No cedemos ningún dato a terceros. Solo se produce una transferencia de datos en la medida en que la origine técnicamente tu propio uso de Apple iCloud.
8. Tus derechos (RGPD)
Dado que nosotros mismos no almacenamos ningún dato personal tuyo, las solicitudes de acceso, rectificación o supresión carecen de objeto en la práctica: tu contenido está en tus manos:
- Datos locales: elimínalos retirando la app de tu dispositivo.
- Datos de iCloud: gestiónalos/elimínalos en los ajustes de iCloud de tu dispositivo.
No obstante, conforme al RGPD tienes derecho de acceso, rectificación, supresión, limitación del tratamiento, portabilidad de los datos y oposición, así como derecho a presentar una reclamación ante una autoridad de control. Para ello, dirígete a la dirección indicada en el punto 1.
9. Menores
Foliana no se dirige específicamente a menores y no recopila conscientemente datos de menores.
10. Cambios en esta política
Podemos actualizar esta política de privacidad si cambian la app o la situación legal. La versión vigente está disponible en la app o en esta URL.
